La Bellezza 3 courses in under 60 minutes review

I was recently invited to try La Bellezza’s 3 courses in under 60 minutes, which is perfect to fit into a lunch break.

The offer is available Monday to Friday from 12:00pm to 4:45pm.

As I have visited La Bellezza before, I already knew what to expect to some extent.

You are instantly greeted with grand classic interior with high ceilings packed with Italian inspired art and décor.

The ambiance was calm, relaxed and staff atentive – it was also quite busy for a weekday afternoon. I arrived an hour early and was accommodated accordingly.

For starters I was recommended the Focaccia Tradizionale which accompanied Puglian Burrata. An indulgent 250g burrata from Puglia with a melty heart that knows no limits. Served with crispy Carasau sardinian bread and freshly basil pesto.

Then onto the main, Spaghettoni Al Ragu Di Agnello with minty salsa verde. The homemade spaghettoni is coated in a rich, slow-cooked ragu made with 100% halal lamb, braised for hours until it melts into the sauce. An Italian classic, made for sharing and savouring.

And dessert, I opted for Mousse Al Cioccolato. Dark chocolate mousse with hazelnut praline, all washed down with a fine red wine.

La Bellezza is a great place to absorb the lush interior and probably one of the finest restaurant views out onto Chamberlain Square.
