Sara Preisler Gallery

Birmingham has a fantastic heritage in jewellery and metalware manufacture, in fact the city was founded on this very industry. The are many jewellers and jewellery makers still in abundance within the historic Jewellery Quarter, however, others do thrive outside of this traditional jewellery making centre.

One such jewellery maker and gallery is The Sara Preisler Gallery. Sara Preisler is internationally renowned for showcasing beautiful, contemporary jewellery alongside other innovative design pieces.

An independent jeweller since 1993, Sara sells her own collections from this space as well as some of the UK’s leading designer-maker’s.

Sara herself has worked with a wide range of clients to include The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Van Gogh Museum and Selfridges, to name but a few. Sara also works on private jewellery commissions by appointment.

It is within this space that Sara represents over seventy of the UK’s leading designer makers with collections ranging from a wide range of contemporary jewellery, to ceramics, silverware, textiles, wire sculpture, glass and photography.

Alongside the gallery’s regular artists, Sara promotes and curates a range of bi-monthly exhibitions focusing on international contemporary makers looking toward the more intellectual aspects of contemporary design.
