Be N!ce storm into The Victoria on Thursday 17th September, headlining a night that promises noise, sweat and gloriously chaotic punk energy. With Pegging Mitchell and Temper Tantrum joining the bill, this is a three band lineup built on DIY spirit, queer rage and the kind of live intensity that leaves a room buzzing long after the last note.
Over the past three years, Be N!ce have carved out their place as one of the UK’s most compelling new punk acts. Their sound is a wild collision of absurdist humour, biting social commentary and an anything goes performance style that feels unpredictable in the best possible way. Their debut EP ‘WHERE AM I?’ announced them as a band with something to say, and the charisma to make people listen, earning praise from Loud Women, ThePunkSite and RTE.
The four piece comprising of Pol Mills, Emily Harris, Alex McIntosh and Brett Lee have played more than 80 shows across England, Germany and Belgium, developing a chemistry that’s explosive, tight and utterly alive on stage.
They’ve been shortlisted for Kerrang’s The Deal, battled it out at No Sleep Til Hellfest, hit Loud Women Festival and Attitude Festival, and opened the main stage at Manchester Punk Festival to hundreds of fans. With a new EP on the horizon, they’re stepping into their most ambitious era yet.
Joining them are Worcester’s Pegging Mitchell, an all female queer riot grrrl band writing angry, energetic songs for she’s and they’s. Their music tackles mental health, assault and survival with unapologetic force, turning pain into power through upbeat ferocity and razor sharp attitude.
Also on the bill are Temper Tantrum, a high energy queer riot grrrl outfit whose shows feel like protest, catharsis and community all at once. Their performances are furious, magnetic and impossible to look away from, the kind of set that grabs you from the first note and doesn’t let go.
A Thursday night stacked with punk chaos, queer fire and three bands who play like the room might combust. Loud, political, playful and gloriously unfiltered, Be N!ce at The Victoria is not to be missed.
